The Tariff Situation
Dear Valued Customers,
Due to recent political developments in the USA, unprecedented tariffs have been imposed on our products. As a result, our suppliers have informed us that there will be a price increase on all model aircraft across North America. This increase is in addition to the normal annual cost adjustments.
August 2025
No news is good news! At this point there have been no increases in the tariff rate. We will continue to keep you informed.
July 2025
On July 8, 2025 tariffs are expected to increase to 20% on models made in China/Hong Kong. We are looking for other avenues to get around the tariffs for our customers which may include changes to our product line until this tariff issue is resolved.
June 2025
We have been advised that shipments into the USA may be delayed by additional US Customs processes as a result of the tariff situation there. At this time we have seen little to no disruptions with the speed of delivery however that may change based on the volume of parcels that US Customs reviews.
May 2025
The tariffs out of the USA have decreased slightly from 145% to 30% on all items manufactured in China and Hong Kong. This is good news however it's a small step to getting prices back in line with pre 2025 pricing.
To help ease this transition:

Current in-stock models will not be affected. Prices will remain unchanged until sold out.

Re-stocked, pre-orders and new stock models may see price changes

Dioramas and display bases prices will not increase, as they are sourced directly from the manufacturer and are not subject to tariffs (at this time).
We remain hopeful this tariff situation is temporary and that we’ll soon return to pre-tariff pricing.
Additionally, please note that changing economic policies in the USA have led to shipping delays at U.S. Customs for orders destined for the USA.
