On February 26, 2024 Lynx Air Will Cease to Exist.
Today the Calgary based airline had received an order from the Alberta Court of King's Bench. It filed for creditor protection and indicated that as a result of rising costs, high fuel prices, airport charges, exchange rates and a difficult economic and heavy regulations it is unable to continue operations. Just under 2 years of operation saw its volume double however it could not weather the storm.
